Primary Research
Conducting primary research with speakers and hosts for gaining insights into their perspectives and experiences while using a product’s studio during a virtual session. The main motive of conducting these interviews was to gather firsthand information about their expectations, needs, and challenges when participating in virtual sessions.

hosts faced challenges engagaing with session speakers & attendees.
As a part of our secondary research, we conducted a comparative analysis of the studios offered by various virtual event platforms. This process involved analyzing the features and functionalities of different platforms, including their user interface, layout, and toolset.
By comparing and contrasting the studios of different platforms, we were able to identify areas of improvement and potential problem areas that needed to be addressed. This analysis provided us with valuable insights into the latest trends and best practices in the industry, and helped us identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
Furthermore, this secondary research enabled us to develop solutions to address any potential problems or limitations in the current design of Hubilo Brodcast Studio, with the ultimate goal of enhancing the user experience and delivering a more engaging and user friendly Studio.

Solution
Ability to check and setup settings
In the latest edition of the Hubilo Broadcast Studio, users can now check and configure their audio and video devices, verify their connection status, and save their settings to prevent any issues during the session. This feature provides with greater control over their settings to ensure a seamless experience during the session.
Backstage/Greenroom Experience
The latest edition of the Hubilo Broadcast Studio offers a new feature that enables speakers to access the Backstage area before joining the live stream. This feature allows speakers to collaborate with other panelists, upload their relevant presentations and videos, and prepare for the session before going live. By providing this capability, the new version of the Hubilo Broadcast Studio enhances the overall experience for both speakers and viewers.

Take a tour functionality
The latest version of the Hubilo Broadcast Studio now includes a "Take a Tour" option that guides users through all the features and functionalities of the platform. This feature is designed to help users quickly understand the product offerings and easily onboard onto our platform. By providing this feature, the Hubilo Broadcast Studio aims to enhance the user experience and improve the ease of use for all users.

Other Design Possibilities
Offering light and dark theme as a part of branding options. With this new feature, hosts can choose to set up their studio in a color scheme that aligns with their brand colors and overall theme. The aim was to offer greater flexibility and personalization to our users.
Using a grid system and breakpoints to ensure a consistent and visually appealing layout across all devices and screen sizes. The grid system enabled us to align elements of the UI in a structured and organized manner, providing a clear visual hierarchy.
We needed to come up with a new way of designing that would be responsive across devices and device sizes
i.e
The sidepanel should seamlessly scale from size A to size B without breaking
